Man sexually assaulted in Spalding

Police are appealing for information after a man, who confronted an offender taking pictures of young girls, was sexually assaulted.

This incident took place at about 1.25pm on May 13 outside Ayscoughfee Gardens Café in Churchgate, Spalding.

An 18-year-old man from Holbeach noticed another man taking pictures of the girls on his mobile phone.

When he confronted the offender he was grabbed by the genitals by the man. The offender then ran off.

The suspect is described as white, about 5ft 4in tall and of skinny build. He was very tanned and had an Eastern European accent. He was wearing a plain black jacket, blue jeans, black shoes and was carrying a mobile phone.
