Superb reporting on Lincolnshire County Council's website added to the atmosphere through election night as the Conservative party were declared the ruling group.
Graphics showing gains and losses to the make-up of the council were updated live as the results came in from the overnight counts.
Councillor Martin Hill, Leader of the ruling Conservative group, said: "I'm very pleased with the turn-out for these elections, and see this as a positive reflection on the success of the Conservative administration in Lincolnshire."
The Conservatives now have 60 seats, Liberal Democrats have 5 seats, Lincolnshire Independents have 4 seats, Labour have 4 seats, Independents have 3 seats and the Boston Bypass Independents have 1 seat.
Voter turn-out is approximately 36% across the county and the council now has 34 new councillors. Full results, statistics and information can be found on the website at http://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk.
