New eco-car wash at Spalding shopping centre

A state of the art car cleaning service that is virtually water-free has been introduced for visitors to Springfields Outlet Shopping and Festival Gardens in Spalding.

The service is different to other car wash services as it uses a specialist minimal water technology system that requires no on-site drainage. It leaves cars with a polished, streak-free finish and specialist protection from the elements.

The service will be based in dedicated spaces in the West Car Park and there will also be a mobile unit. The service will be available every day of the week during Springfields' normal trading hours.

The company providing the service, Encore Performance, uses a car cleaning system that is non-toxic, bio-degradable and has minimal environmental impact. Unlike many car washes and polishes there are no thick waxes involved, but a UV coating left on the car leaves it water resistant and anti-static. People can also have their car interior cleaned with choice from a range of valet services.

Using a specialist spray wipe clean solution, car cleaning operators can wash, polish and protect cars while their owners shop and or enjoy the  Festival Gardens. All the dirt particles are lifted and suspended from the car surface before they are quickly removed with specialist cloths - effectively the car is left gleaming with no streaks.
