Appeal after Crowland car break-ins

Description:

Police are appealing for information after three vehicles were broken into in Crowland over the last few days.

Offenders smashed the passenger window of a car in the car park in East Street, Crowland between 12.15am and 8.45am on August 22- stealing a stereo.

A car in North Street, Crowland, was also targeted between 5.30pm on August 20 and 6.30am on August 21.

Offenders smashed a window and stole a CD player.

And a car was hit in Thorney Road, Crowland overnight on August 21/22. again, a window was smashed and a stereo was stolen.

A 16-year-old Spalding youth has been arrested in connection with the East Street and North Street offences. He has been released on bail until September 28 pending further enquiries.

Officers are still appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in these roads at the time can call Spalding Police Station on 01775 722233.
