Winners announced in Guide2Spalding advertising comp

Four lucky Spalding and South Holland businesses can look forward to the benefits of a year's free advertising on Guide2Spalding after their names were picked in a prize draw.

Spalding-based Unique Computer Training won first prize in the competition, held last month, and will pick up a package of advertising worth £2,000.

The prize includes button, banner and premium advertising spots on Guide2Spalding, plus an enhanced business directory listing to include all Unique Computer Training's contact details and a full description of its services and photos.

Spalding-based James Driving School and Mandy Allen Business Support Services, as well as Holbeach-based SM Painting and Decorating won runners-up prizes of a free button advert and an enhanced business directory listing, worth £900.

Guide2Spalding is now working with the winners to design their adverts and they will appear on the site shortly.

Shain Maddison, of SM Painting and Decorating, said: "I'm really pleased to have won. This should give my business a real boost and let people around Holbeach and the rest of South Holland know that we are here and what we can do."

Mandy Allen, of Mandy Allen Business Support Services, who also runs the Newbiz Network in Spalding and is a regular blogger on Guide2Spalding, said: "I am delighted to have won. This is a great prize."
